Bahari, the swahili word for ocean. Bahari rum dips its roots in the ancient lands and tropical eastern waters of the Indian Ocean, once crisis-crossed by traditional dhows carrying spices and wealth. It is a delicate mix of Kenyan molasses, and old rum, and aged in American oak with distinctive notes of Bourbon vanilla and slow-cooked bananas. Bahari Rum, the first East African premium rum, is distilled aged, and bottled in Kenya.
